Spring School on Experimental and Corpus Linguistics – Aristotle University, Greece
Spring School on Experimental and Corpus Linguistics
This spring school offers a two-day compact course on experimental and corpus linguistics. The participants will acquire the necessary knowledge to handle corpora and experimental data sets for research and teaching purposes. The sessions will involve lectures and lab practice. Labs will include practice with tools to design linguistic experiments (e-prime) and programming practice for corpus construction and analysis (XML and R). For both experimental and corpus linguistic sessions, real-life data sets will be used and analysed (e.g., Greek Learner Corpus). The instruction will be carried out in English.
