[CFP] Exchanges: The Interdisciplinary Research Journal
Exchanges: The Interdisciplinary Research Journal (ISSN 2053-9665) welcomes submissions throughout the year from scholars around the world. We aim to provide our readership with articles from across the disciplinary spectrum, and hence will consider material drawn from all fields. As Exchanges has a core mission to support the development and dissemination of research by early career and post-graduate researchers, we are especially pleased to receive manuscripts from emerging scholars or first-time authors. However, contributions from established and senior scholars are also welcomed.
This open submission call is in addition to any of our themed and special issue calls.
The journal is a diamond open-access journal, and therefore does not levy any author publication charges (fees). Articles are published under a CC-BY licence with authors retaining copyright over their work.
Journal Readership
Exchanges has an expressly multidisciplinary, global and largely academic readership with particular interests in work which encompasses or straddles disciplinary boundaries. Overtly interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary articles are especially welcomed, as are manuscripts providing an introduction or overview of key fields and research discourse.
Prospective authors are strongly encouraged to consider accommodate and tailor their manuscripts to addresses this broad audience. For interviews and critical reflections, authors are especially advised to highlight the importance of any disciplinary discourse or interviewees’ scholarly contributions to the global academy, society or public sphere.
