0.8% FTE, Fixed Term position for 12 months maternity cover: 1 September 2023 – 31 August 2024.
To take up this role you will have experience of teaching in higher education and will be expected to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students to a high standard.
You will have the ability and willingness to develop and support the delivery of Italian Studies and Translation and Transcultural Studies modules across the School, including elements of cultural content and language teaching, and you will be expected to participate as appropriate in the administration of departmental and School-wide activities.
You will have a postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline and an excellent command of spoken and written Italian and English. Specialism in/ knowledge of theory and practice of translation, as well as a firm grounding in Italian culture, will be required.
