[Job Vacancy] Postdoctoral researcher position at Dongguk University

Duration: 6 months (until 28 Feb 2024, maybe renewed)

Salary: min. 36,000,000 KRW p.m. before tax

The Division of English Language and Literature at Dongguk University in South Korea is leading a National Research Foundation-funded BK (Brain Korea) project, entitled Development of Future English Translation and Interpreting Studies Talents in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence based on the University-Industry Cooperation Business Model.

The project team is looking to recruit a full-time postdoctoral research fellow who have expertise in machine translation and AI translation in particular. During the contract period, the research fellow is expected to work on the BK research project.

Applicants must have their doctoral degree conferred by the time of appointment. The fellowship appointment cannot be held concurrently with other fellowships or academic positions.

Salary will be highly competitive. Other research support for attending conferences and for other scholarly activities is also available.
